Emerald Ash Borer (EAB)

The Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive destructive pest native to Asia.  It attacks all ash trees in in the Fraxinus genus throughout North America.  Ash trees left untreated are almost guaranteed to succumb to the pressures of an EAB infestation, eventually killing the tree.  The insect larvae feed on the live tissue under the bark disrupting the trees ability to transport water and nutrients throughout the tree.

It has already killed tens of millions of Ash trees in Southern Michigan alone, with Tens of Millions more in states like WI, IL, IN, AR, CO, CT, GA, MN, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PE, TN, WV,VI, and Canada.  Currently EAB has been found in the greater Madison area and it is not going away anytime soon.

The good news is that we offer an extremely effective treatment that will protect your trees from falling victim to this unruly pest.  The highly effective treatment we offer is a “Plug- Less” trunk injection that allows for quick uptake protecting the tree for up to 2 years without need for another application.  If you want to insure the survival of your Ash tree be sure to call us for an assessment.
